SnapShotz at E3

Any serious video game fan probably knows that E3, the Electronic Entertainment Expo, is the biggest annual trade show for the computer and video games industry on the West coast and presented by the Entertainment Software Association (ESA).  It is primarily used by many video game developers to show off their upcoming games and game-related hardware.  E3 has widely been considered to be the ultimate expo in the video game industry, offering sneak peaks and playable demos of future games to industrial professionals and the select few able to secure admission.  For many video game fans, including several members of the SnapShotz Photobooth team, E3 is the most coveted and most exciting gaming event of the year!

SnapShotz Photobooth had the tremendous honor of helping Interworks Unlimited promote their name brand, specifically showcasing the exciting new Photo World game for the Nintendo DSi, at this year’s E3 event held at the LA Convention Center.  The three day event was a frenetic, exciting and surreal spectacle and a truly amazing success for everyone involved with over 2800 photos taken by our photo booth!

Photo World for the Nintendo DSi

Based in City of Industry, InterWorks Unlimited Inc. distributes a wide range of high-quality gaming peripherals, such as the new and ultra cool HKS licensed PS3 racing controller, and innovative new software including Photo World.  Photo World is a truly unique game for the Nintendo DSi that allows players to simulate a photobooth experience with Nintendo’s best selling handheld system.  Users can snap photos, add stickers and decorations, draw faces, choose frames, and share the fun pictures online!

The Interworks Photo Booth

To help promote this exciting photo booth sticker game, Interworks utilized several of the unique SnapShotz photo booth options to match their company name branding including custom print graphics, custom designed user interface screens, and our Custom booth wrap.  These unique customizations truly helped draw attention to Interworks exhibit and provided the hundreds of guest an exciting photo booth experience!

The Grove in Anaheim

Nederlander Concerts was the first promoter to bring live theatre to the Grove of Anaheim with the Broadway touring productions of Stomp, Rent and Grease. In addition, family performances such as Sesame Street Live have played the venue for the first time since Nederlander took over its management. The Grove of Anaheim has also played host to several sell-out concerts including, Ray Charles, Morrissey, Jill Scott, Cyndi Lauper, George Lopez, Merle Haggard, Jamie Foxx, Dropkick Murphys and Seal, among others. – more info

SnapShotz at the Conga Room

SnapShotz was invited to be a part of the BCS Championship viewing party sponsored by Nike.  The event took place at the world famous Conga Room which was founded by real estate entrepreneur Brad Gluckstein and co-owned by Jimmy Smits, Jennifer Lopez, Paul Rodriguez, Sheila E., Amaury Nolasco, Baron Davis, Trevor Ariza, and will.i.am.   “The Conga Room was designed by the award-winning Belzberg Architects, and is a a contemporary space that reflects the vibrant energies of Barcelona and Mexico City.  The Conga Room pays homage to contemporary Latino culture with special additions including a digital mural and sculptures created by Artist and Film Director, Sergio Arau, and the sensual Papaya Bar designed by internationally acclaimed Cuban American Artist, Jorge Pardo.” – Read More …

SnapShotz Photobooth was on hand for the exciting TAG Signature Series Launch Party at the iconic and chic London West Hollywood hotel.

SnapShotz and the TAG Launch Party

The TAG Signature Series body sprays (owned by Procter & Gamble), has launched with a reintroduction of three popular scents in new packaging featuring basketball star Carmelo Anthony, skateboarder Rob Dyrdek and multi-platinum rapper Ludacris on their bottles.   This new direction and vision is helping pave the way for TAG’s expansion beyond just the hip-hop audience.  Several celebs were in attendance to show their support of the TAG label, such as Denise Richards and Ryan Phillippe.

The London West Hollywood hotel, just steps away from Sunset Strip, features glamourous interiors with modern sophistication and offers award winning cuisine by the intertnationally acclaimed Gordon Ramsey (the star of Hell’s Kitchen).

SnapShotz at Villa Fest

SnapShotz Photobooth recently was honored with attending this year’s “Villa Fest” summer street festival at the local hotpsot Villa Sorriso in Pasadena.  The highly anticipated and exciting outdoor gathering included live musicians, entertainers, DJs, dancers, food, fashion and spirits.

The Villa Fest event, billed as a “one-time-only gathering of tribute bands,” included talented cover artists such as Saw Red (covering Sublime), Joshua Tree (covering U2), No Duh (covering No Doubt), and Blasphemous Rumors (covering Depeche Mode).  The event was also sponsored by many major liquor and spirit vendors such as Jack Daniels, Bacardi, Patron and Bacardi, who offered complimentary open bars for all the guests. 

Live music, complimentary food and liquor, DJs, dancers…and the SnapShotz Photobooth was truly a formula for a successful and fun summer festival.

SnapShotz Photobooth Rentals recently had the honor of attending the WeSC founders party at the luxurious ocean-side Hotel  Shangri-La in Santa Monica, California.

WeSC (WeAretheSuperlativeConspiracy) is a street fashion brand for intellectual slackers.  WeSC is not merely a brand in the fashion industry, but rather a company within the skateboard culture.  The founders are all avid skateboarders and snowboarders.  Superlative Conspiracy is the foundation for the entire company; it’s the idea and philosophy behind the company. One of the most important components of the Superlative Conspiracy™ is our Weactivists.  Some notable Weactivists include actors Jason Lee (former professional Skater and star of My Name is Earl) and Peter Stormare (Fargo, Minority Report). Photo booth and Hotel Shangri-la

Overlooking the pacific, Hotel Shangri-La is a dramatic beacon of Art Deco beauty, Hollywood allure, and Los Angeles history.  Perched on a high bluff in the heart of Santa Monica, California, the luxurious boutique Hotel features spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean and is just steps away from the Santa Monica Pier.

The staff of SnapShotz Photobooth Rentals would like to thank both WeSC and Hotel Shangri-La for choosing us for this special event.  With over 700 photos taken in our photo booth, throughout the day and evening, we feel the party was an amazing success for everyone!

SnapShotz at Lucky Strike

The SnapShotz Photobooth team were recently invited to Hollywood’s upscale bowling alley and lounge, Lucky Strike Lanes, to be a part of the fantastic Season Wrap Party for Nickelodeon’s True Jackson VP!

Lucky Strike has been no stranger to high profile events over the last five years, catering to an impressive list of Hollywood’s elite guests.  Make no mistake, Lucky Strike is more than an ordinary bowling alley.  With their modern decor, private lounges, pool tables, lane side food service, large projection screens, and a sophisticated sound system, Lucky Strike is a nightclub, bowling alley and entertainment hot spot all rolled together.

True Jackson VP is one of Nickelodeon’s new hit television shows and stars Keke Palmer as the title character.  True Jackson tells the story of a young and bright 15 year old girl who gets the chance of a lifetime when she lands the job as Vice President for a fashion empire. Many movie goers may remember Keke Palmer from her breakout performance, opposite Laurence Fishburne and Angela Bassett in “Akeelah and the Bee.”

SnapShotz Made the Switch!

97.1 Amp Radio Launch Party

SnapShotz Photobooth was recently given the honor of setting up one of our “Photobooths that Rock!” in the VIP suite of Hollywood’s Social on Sunset Blvd. for the 97.1 AMP Radio Launch Party with special guest LMFAO and hosted by Stryker.

AMP Radio is LA’s new hit music station and features Stryker every Monday – Friday from 3PM – 7PM.  Former fans of 106.7 KROQ may remember Stryker as the afternoon DJ and as Adam Corolla’s successor for the nationally syndicated LoveLine with Dr. Drew. Stryker is also known for his work on the Ellen DeGeneres Show and his work on the mega hit videogame Burnout 3: Takedown and Burnout Paradise for Xbox360!

LMFAO, the electro-hop group from Hollywood, consisting of DJ/Rappers Redfoo and Sky Blu, have had major success with their hit single “I’m in Miami Bitch” and the turnout by fans to see them perform was amazing!

Before, during and after the show, the SnapShotz Photo booth was rocking (quite literally) in the VIP area and capturing all the excitement with over 200 photos being taken.  Everyone, including LMFAO and Stryker himself, got in on the Photo booth entertainment and a great time was had by all.
